I began seeing videos which stereotype women as needing special help understanding computer science. Women are unable to understand that complicated boy stuff...right?
That is not true. Ada Lovelace is the author of the first published algorithm. Grace Hopper is the creator of the first compiler. Coding does not need to be simplified for women.
Learning about the history of women in computing can make it easier to understand that women are capable of innovation in computer science.
